Hemp Heros Cold-Pressed Hemp and Salmon Oil

Most pet oils are refined. This one is not.

The hemp seed is pressed slowly, without heat or solvents, so more of its natural character stays in the bottle. The oil is dark green-gold, with a gentle grassy scent — closer to the seed itself than to a heavily processed oil. No butane. No propane. Nothing that needs stripping out afterwards.

It is then blended with salmon oil to add omega-3s, including EPA and DHA. These are often in short supply in a dry diet, and the two oils work well together. Most dogs accept the taste readily.

How to use it
Add it to food. Start with half the amount on the label chart and build up over a week so your dog can get used to it. Dose by weight — the chart does the sums for you.

Once opened, keep it in the fridge. Because the oil is unrefined, it has no extra preservatives, so cool storage helps it stay fresh.

Before you start
Speak to your vet first if your dog is pregnant, on medication, or being treated for a long-term condition. Oils can affect how some medicines are absorbed, and your vet will know what else your dog is taking.
